1. Does SIIL do pick ups and drop offs and deliveries?
Yes we pick up and drop of our clients. Our base is located about 5 minutes away from the airport and from most of the hotels in the tourist belt.  Pick ups an drop offs are  free anywhere in the parish of St. George , and part and parcel of the service when you rent a vehicle from SIIL for 3 days or more. SIIL's pick ups, drop offs as well as delivery services  are also available to the wider public starting as US$12.00.

​2. How do I arrange an airport pick up?
​Once you confirm your SIIL car rental booking, and send us your flight information, you can depend on SIIL to be at the airport awaiting you  when you get here.  You let us know the date , time of arrival, and the flight number and update us promptly in the event of delays.  In the unlikely event that you arrive at the airport before we do then   give us a call when you’re outside in the waiting area on  +14734580345.  If you can stand near this water fountain in front of the airport it makes it  easy to find you .  If your cell doesn’t have a signal, you can get free wifi in the waiting area, and there are payphones at the airport.

3. Can I drive there with my home driver’s license
Generally no! Certain Caribbean countries can drive on the island with their home license, These are : Bahamas,Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks and Caicos. The holders of licenses from these countries can drive on the island for up to 6 months after their arrival without having to purchase a temporary permit. The drivers however are required to keep their passports with them while they drive. Additionally drivers from these countries : Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla,  British Virgin Islands,  Dominica, Montserrat,  Saint Kitts and Nevis,  Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and  Martinique are allowed to drive indefinitely but must keep their valid driver’s license with them as well as their passports. Everyone else  is required to purchase a temporary Grenadian drivers permit provided you have a valid driver's license from home. This can usually be purchased at our office or and nearest police station. The permits last for 3 months and they cost about US$25.00.

4. What about insurance?​
All of our vehicles are covered by Third Party Liability Insurance Policy as required by the Law of Grenada    However, you are require make a security deposit of US$1000.00 by cash or Credit Card which is refundable in full in the event of no accident or damage to the rental car.

​5. How many drivers can be on the contract?
We allow up to 2 drivers to be on a contract, but for each additional driver there is a fee of US$20.
